Download all files into a new folder.

Run setup.exe. If the framework is not installed yet, a window will pop-up. Follow the Microsoft link and install the framework first (x86, or consult your IT expert). After the installation, start setup.exe again. 

Follow the installation assistant by confirming every message. Read the terms of use.

The next step is to run BraxxSoftware_2_2.exe. Confirm with "Install". The programme unpacks the machine software in the path C:\Programme\EDTEurodima\BRAXXAnalyzer.

Undertake the software update using original EDT EURODIMA cables only!  

Very important to for the installation in the non-German speaking countries:

The folder names are different in English-based operating systems to those of German-based OS. The standard installation path is C:\Programme\xyx etc. Updates are also done in the same path. There are some other processes running at the update which are also searching in the same path.

So, the users abroad that already use the tool, have to uninstall the whole software, and to reinstall it: Then, the standard path that the OS suggests must not be used, but the German-based one. The installation path for the FDT software has to be exactly like this: C:\Programme\Renesas\FDT3.05 – if necessary, rename it (not C:\programs\Renesas\etc. or something similar)
