EURODIMA sets new safety standards on the construction site
Construction sites are often the scene of acci- dents due to electric shocks – sometimes with serious consequences – when machines with frequency converters are used. This is often due to an incorrect protection. The Safety Cube offers a recise earth leakage compensation, fulfils all requirements according to DIN N50178 and is therefore perfectly suited for the use of electric equipment with frequency converters. The device offers a permanent earth conductor monitor and is equipped with a residual current device type B MI. The innovative product enables smooth and fault-free operation, even if a residual current device TYPE A is connected upstream. The Safety Cube is equipped with a connection point for a ground spike or earth wire, has a rugged aluminium housing for rough environments and is resistant against dust and water with its type of protection IP44.
